Remoter’s Life: Juliana Polippo
This Week’s featured Remote Worker is Juliana, Marketing Analyst and Copywriter, living in Santa Catarina, Brazil. This is how she makes remote work, work for her.
Juliana, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I am a free person, who lives in cafes, libraries, coworking spaces, agencies and couches working as a “Copywriter”. In my spare time you will see me on the streets biking, reading, writing, or photographing. I like listening to old music, watching independent bands, watching classic movies and going to the theater. I love hosting friends in my home, having inspirational ideas, and connecting with nature.
Can you tell us more about your job?
Throughout my 10 years as a multimedia producer, I have been producing content for magazines and digital brands in various media formats such as e-books, blog posts, media posts, promotional e-mails and texts for websites, radio spots, scripts and other pieces for advertising campaigns.
Do you have a dedicated space to work?
Yes, I have a work station in my houses. I need this!
What does your typical workday look like?
I connect around 10am in Slack, check my messages first. After open boards, e-mail and check my schedule and starting my tasks. Around 12pm I break for lunch and make this with calm. And let’s back work to finish jobs of day. Basicly I talk my copywriters and develops content to digital channels.
What tools do you use to stay productive?
I use Trello and Notion to organize my tasks and keeping a visual scheduled.
What is your current workspace setup?
The classic: desk and chair with computer in second room of apartament. And other desk in living room to use with my notebook.
Your favourite unplugged activity
I like make luminarys or create new thing with wood — this recent hobbie.
What do you like most about working remotely?
The freedom of going and back by places and citys without explain my boss a each five minutes about my personal life.
